Mindfulness App Redesign Study

Over the course of six weeks, I:
- Created wireframes, a low fidelity prototype, and a high fidelity prototype
- Performed usability testing
- Created user personas
- Designed and conducted user research interviews

My research revealed user expectations surrounding in-app guidance, user identification with illustrations, and the influence of icon location. As I studied the app’s existing interface, I deepened my appreciation of the user flows and their correspondence to the content library’s offerings. The largest challenge I encountered was negotiating my redesign with the release of two updates that included major changes to the user interface. With additional time and funding, I would have brought on additional researchers and increased the number of interviewees.
